Chapter 151: The Warrior of Hogwarts
Chapter 151: The Warrior of Hogwarts
Everyone came early to eat on Saturday morning, so it was quite crowded, with some people even gathering around the Goblet of Fire with some noodles.
Gloria and Draco also stopped, and the goblet was placed in the middle of the hall, with a thin gold line drawn around it.
Crabbe directly asked the Slytherin students who were gathered around him, "Are there any minors going in there?"
"I don't know."
This line was drawn by Dumbledore himself, and no one dared to jump in and try it. We will know who the warrior is tonight, and we don’t want any accidents to happen at this time.
Opposite them, Harry, Ron and Hermione also arrived. Ron eagerly asked the people around him if anyone had voted.
Headmaster Dumbledore made it very clear last night that the game was very dangerous and asked us to think carefully before bidding.
"All the students at Durmstrang have voted, but our school hasn't seen any yet."
There was laughter at the door and the Weasley twins and their good friend Lee Jordan ran over.
"Success!" Fred shook the potion bottle in his hand.
"Just one drop and we'll be seventeen!" George said excitedly.
Jordan clapped his hands vigorously, causing everyone else in Hogwarts, except Slytherin, to clap along.
"I don't think it will succeed." Hermione disagreed, "Headmaster Dumbledore must have considered this. You can't get over the line."
The twins pretended not to hear and shook the potion in their hands.
"Are you ready Fred?"
"Get ready, George—"
"Done!"
The two men raised their heads and drank the potion. Fred jumped into the golden line first. There was no reaction for a moment. Warm cheers rang out all around. George jumped in excitedly amid the cheers.
The twins high-fived Jordan outside the golden thread, as if the Hogwarts warrior was already one of their brothers.
Throwing the parchment into the Goblet of Fire, everyone waited with bated breath, and Draco murmured, "No way."
The flames in the goblet danced, and the Weasley twins seemed to be thrown out of the golden wire by an invisible force. They groaned in pain and it seemed that they had fallen quite hard.
Draco started laughing without restraint, and the two bodyguards behind him laughed even louder.
Fred sat up and saw that his brother's hair had turned white and a white beard had appeared on his chin, and the same was true for him.
Now everyone burst into laughter, and the twins were amused by each other's new appearance.
"I've said it before." Headmaster Dumbledore stroked his beard as he said with a smile, "Hurry up and go to Madam Pomfrey. Miss Fawcett from Ravenclaw and Mr. Summers from Hufflepuff are in the same situation as you, but I must say that their beards are not as beautiful as yours. Recover quickly and don't be late for the dinner and miss the Champion Selection Ceremony."
The Weasley twins covered their stomachs which hurt from laughing and went to the hospital wing with their good friend Jordan.
Gloria pulled Draco towards the Great Hall, and he was laughing so hard that he could hardly walk.
Inside the auditorium, a swarm of bats flew around on the ceiling, and hundreds of pumpkins with carved facial features looked at the students below.
"Has anyone signed up for Slytherin House?" Gloria asked the students around her.
"Warrington of the Quidditch team pitched."
She just nodded and said nothing more.
Many students had dinner but did not leave, ready to see who would come to sign up. Gloria and Draco went to the library to do their homework. Anyway, the two bodyguards would find out everything.

Everyone was busy eating at the Halloween dinner, and they couldn't wait to clear their plates and start the warrior selection ceremony.
Finally, after everyone's long wait, the golden plates and cups were restored to their spotless state, and everyone became excited.
As Headmaster Dumbledore stood up, all the sounds in the hall disappeared.
Not only the students, but also the professors of Hogwarts, Madam Maxime and Headmaster Karkaroff were a little nervous.
"It's almost time," Dumbledore said. "Before the champions are selected, I want to say something. After the champions' names are announced, remember to walk to the top of the hall, past the staff table and into the next room. The three champions will receive initial instruction there."
After saying that, he raised his wand and waved it in a circle. Except for the floating pumpkin lantern, all the other candles were extinguished. The blue and white flame in the Goblet of Fire was brighter than ever.
Draco squeezed Gloria's hand and mouthed "coming".
The auditorium fell into semi-darkness, and everyone kept looking at their watches. They had never felt that dozens of seconds passed so slowly.
Suddenly, the flame in the goblet turned red, sparks crackled, a tongue of fire rushed into the air, bringing out a piece of parchment with burnt edges, and suddenly not even the sound of breathing could be heard in the auditorium.
Dumbledore raised his hand to catch the parchment, and held it high in the light of the Goblet of Fire and the pumpkin lantern so that he could read the words clearly.
"The champion of Durmstrang is Viktor Krum!" he shouted in a clear and powerful voice.
Many students at Hogwarts were more excited than the dozen or so students at Durmstrang. Krum stood up calmly, took the parchment from Headmaster Dumbledore, bowed, left the hall and went to the next room.
When the applause and cheers gradually died down, everyone's eyes fell on the Goblet of Fire again.
The flames turned red again, and with a pop the flames shot up high, and a second piece of parchment fell into Dumbledore's hands.
"The champion of Beauxbatons is Fleur Delacour!"
It was the witch with Veela ancestry. She stood up proudly, shook her silver hair and walked forward. After shaking hands with Dumbledore, she went to the next room with the parchment.
Next, we have to announce the Champion of Hogwarts...
Gloria squeezed Draco's hand, and the boy turned around and asked softly, "Are you nervous?"
She shook her head silently.
The flame turned red and shot up high, and everyone's hearts seemed to be hanging in the air along with the third piece of parchment.
Dumbledore took the paper with a smile on his face, and saw the words on it clearly in the dim light, but he did not announce it immediately. Instead, he put his hand down and read it carefully several times.
The students started talking about it, and the teachers who taught the dining table also found it strange.
The headmaster's smile disappeared at this time, and he turned his gaze to the Slytherin table. Warrington, who had signed up before, blushed. Other houses found it incredible. Could it be that the warrior came from Slytherin? !
"The champion of Hogwarts is... Gloria Slytherin!"
The whole audience was in an uproar. Gloria was a fourth-grade student, how could she become a warrior?
She looked quite calm, as if this matter was not surprising at all.
Gloria patted Draco's hand and walked towards Headmaster Dumbledore step by step.
"She is not yet seventeen."
"How is it possible for a fourth grader?"
People in the school were talking about it in low voices, and students from the other two schools were also shocked.
Dumbledore handed her the parchment and said, "Go to the next room first."
Gloria took the paper and left calmly.
Draco sat there in a daze, totally confused as to how Gloria could become a warrior.
"Draco, when did Gloria sign up?" Crabbe asked excitedly, and the others looked at him eagerly.
The boy frowned and shook his head, "I don't know."
Headmaster Dumbledore's expression was no longer as relaxed and happy as before. He said in a serious tone: "Three warriors have been selected..."
Before he finished speaking, there was movement from the goblet again. He turned around and followed the gaze of the crowd. The blue and white flames turned red, and the rising tongues of fire brought out the fourth piece of parchment.
