Chapter 204 Just a Light Kiss
Chapter 204 Just a Light Kiss
His hands trembled slightly. Thank goodness, it was still warm and soft. He didn't want to touch that coldness again.
"Yan Ruoyu, could you loosen your grip a little? I can hardly breathe."
Zhongli Yueluo wanted to push him away, but the wound on her hand was being torn open and hurt terribly.
"Princess, promise me that no matter what happens, you will not do anything foolish."
Zhongli Yueluo knew what he was talking about, and gently touched his back with her wrist: "Don't worry."
Yan Ruoyu gently kissed her forehead, but Zhongli Yueluo felt him trembling uncontrollably.
He held her tightly, not letting go, leaving only a small gap between them so she could breathe.
"It's alright, Ruoyu...it's alright," she whispered, comforting her.
He slowly released her, his eyes dimming as he looked at her bloodied hands.
What happened while he was unconscious? Why was her hand injured like this?
His Adam's apple bobbed, his eyes were full of worry, and he picked up one of the hands and untied the cloth strip.
The flesh and blood had stuck together and had not healed; it was still bleeding continuously.
He didn't say a word, carefully tearing at the strips of cloth.
While blowing, he untied all the cloth strips.
Looking at the gaping wound, he frowned and lowered his voice, seemingly suppressing his anger.
"How did you get hurt?"
After rinsing the wound with water, you can see the stark white flesh.
He took her hand, brought it to his lips, squinted his eyes, and gently licked her wound with his tongue.
It was an indescribable tingling and stinging sensation, although their Zheng tribe found this treatment method somewhat embarrassing to talk about.
However, the treatment was quite effective; after a short while, I could feel a soft light flowing over it.
The wound didn't hurt as much, and even more amazingly, it was healing at a speed visible to the naked eye.
Zhongli Yuelu sniffed, her face flushed slightly with embarrassment: "Thank you."
"There is no need for thanks between me and the princess."
What Zhongli Yueluo really wanted to ask was, doesn't it have to be in its original form for it to work? How can a human do it too?
"Your Highness is asking why I haven't taken human form, right?"
Yan Ruoyu voiced Zhongli Yueluo's suspicions, and she began to wonder if he could hear her thoughts.
She nodded. Yan Ruoyu pursed her lips. She had said that before because she was really embarrassed when she was in human form.
Now that we've already faced life and death, why would we care about such trivial matters?
"Because I only love princesses."
The implication is that he is her personal therapist.
She grinned, revealing her pearly teeth, her eyes crinkling, and tilted her head as she raised her other hand.
"Then I'll have to trouble Young Master Yan," she said playfully.
After repeating the above series of actions, her other hand also recovered.
However, it still left a relatively deep scar, which will take time to fade.
Yan Ruoyu also replenished her magical power by absorbing Zhongli Yueluo's blood.
But then he saw that her face was pale, and he remembered that everyone was trapped in a dream and was awakened by her blood.
She really suffered a lot, as neither Su Fengjun nor Su Fengling were on either side of the viewing platform.
It was just the two of them!
Is this still a dream?! It's extremely illogical that they're not here!
Zhongli Yueluo noticed that Yan Ruoyu was in a daze for a moment, so she waved her hand in front of him.
"Ruoyu, what are you thinking about? You seem so lost in thought."
He nervously pulled her into his arms again, but this time the force was just right.
She could even feel his hands moving up and down her body. It wasn't that he was being indecent to her, but rather that he was checking if she was alright.
From her shoulders to her waist, something tickled Zhongli Yueluo's skin, and she burst out laughing.
"Ruoyu, hahaha, Ruoyu, what are you doing!"
Her eyes narrowed into slits as she smiled, completely oblivious to Yan Ruoyu's nervousness.
His hands suddenly cupped her face, his red eyes fixed on her as he drew closer and closer.
Zhongli Yueluo's laughter stopped abruptly, and she pursed her lips to meet his gaze.
"Is all of this real?" Her eyes sparkled as she felt the warmth of the touch.
His kiss came unexpectedly; he kissed her eyes.
With just a slight touch, I could feel his eyelashes fluttering on his lips.
It's itchy, my heart is itchy, I'm so afraid of losing it.
He gently pinched her cheek with his fingers, then kissed her cheek and the tip of her nose.
His breath was hot, yet she could sense his restraint. Zhongli Yueluo reached out and stroked his face.
And with her other hand she gently wrapped her arms around his waist: "Don't worry, no matter what happens, I'll always be here for you."
"Don't leave again without permission. I'd rather...die."
When he said those words, Zhongli Yueluo looked up at him, her eyes glistening with tears.
She gently shook her head and placed her hand on his lips: "I don't want that word to come out of any of your mouths."
He gently kissed her fingertips: "Then promise me that no matter what happens, you will stay behind me instead of rushing to the front."
"I can't agree to that. What you think is also what I think." She smiled slightly, tears streaming down her face.
He kissed her lightly, but she didn't respond passionately; she merely touched his lips lightly.
She turned to let go of him, but he pulled her back into his arms: "Where are you going?"
“You have woken up, but you haven’t seen Miaoqing and Yinyi. They might also be in danger.”
"Yes, we were completely caught in their trap without even realizing it!"
He thought to himself that this Nightmare Ghost was indeed quite capable.
But he was still puzzled as to why she hadn't fallen into a dream.
But there's no time to worry about that now; saving lives is the priority.
Zhongli Yueluo wanted to let go of his hand, but he held on tightly.
Fortunately, the wound no longer hurts, otherwise it would definitely have split open even deeper.
Su Fengjun was thrown back by the shockwave, and then slowly stood up from the ground and walked towards the two of them.
His gaze first fell on the two clasped hands, then he glanced away somewhat sadly.
"Feng Jun, come here," she called softly.
Looking at Su Fengjun, Yan Ruoyu felt as if she had been in another world; he seemed to have changed a lot.
Su Fengjun awkwardly walked up to them, glancing at them every now and then.
Zhongli Yueluo grabbed him with her other hand.
He laughed.
Yan Ruoyu's eyes flickered slightly. How could Su Fengjun's feelings for Zhongli Yueluo have changed so much?
Could it all be because of that dream? In their dream, she also died for them?
He turned his head: "Young Master Feng, I didn't expect you to wake up from your dream first. How did we fall into this trap?"
"I only remember that a mist rose in front of me, I smelled a strange smell, and then I entered a dream."
Is there a difference between dreams and reality?
Yan Ruoyu started trying to get information out of Zhongli Yueluo, wanting to know what she was like in other people's dreams.
Zhongli Yuelu coughed softly in the middle, then shook off both of their hands.
"Why don't you two share your experiences on how to get out of a dream? I'm going to find them."
The two looked at each other, then simultaneously turned to Zhongli Yueluo. How could they let her go alone?
The two cried out in unison, "Wait for me, Princess!"
