The rest period was three days. After lying down for three days, Lin Ziping barely recovered and was summoned to Lu Shuyin's room when he returned to the county government.

“Lin boy, follow me and do your job well. There’s no war on the border these days, and there’s not much to do in our barracks either. So you can go with the brothers from the fast squad to Fuchun and see what’s going on with the people.” Inspector Chai nodded in satisfaction when he saw Lin Ziping following him obediently. “If you know things clearly, it will be easier for you to do things later.
