Chapter 411: Imu Emerges

Nika Luffy crashed into the ruins of Mariejois.

Aside from the violent impact at the moment of collision, nothing else seemed to happen afterward. The ground strangely transformed into a giant spring mattress, sinking deeply inward before bouncing him back out again.

Nika Luffy bent over with a bitter expression.

"Blegh..."

The magma forced into his stomach did not explode. Under the influence of his overwhelming Devil Fruit power, it transformed into rubber-like jelly and was vomited onto the ground.

Mixed within it was the severed head of Shanks.

Nika Luffy’s mouth unconsciously dragged to the ground. Although he was still grinning, the disbelief in his eyes made it clear he could not accept what he was seeing.

His hand slowly and stiffly reached toward Shanks’ head.

Tap.

The sound of leather boots stepping into liquid echoed.

At some unknown moment, Sakazuki had already landed. His black leather boot stepped into the jelly-like magma in front of Nika Luffy.

Before Luffy’s hand could touch Shanks’ head, Sakazuki’s foot stepped down onto it.

His indifferent voice sounded out. "What a troublesome mess... Magma is such a dangerous thing. How can you casually spit it out like that..."

Nika Luffy’s reaching hand froze as he suddenly raised his head.

Though his mouth still stretched in that twisted grin, his eyes overflowed with killing intent as he stared at Sakazuki.

Sakazuki looked down at him with the corners of his mouth raised slightly. Then he pressed down harder with his foot.

Crack.

Shanks’ severed head shattered apart.

The magma beneath Sakazuki’s foot, which had been turned into jelly, was forcibly reclaimed and transformed back into flowing magma as scorching heat surged upward.

BOOM!!!!!!!!!

The compressed magma erupted like a miniature nuclear bomb and instantly swept across all of Mariejois.

Molten lava and burning shockwaves surged outward, incinerating everything in their path. The guards of Mariejois and the Revolutionary Army forces brought by Dragon were instantly wiped out.

The entire Holy Land transformed into a magma hell.

Far away, most of Pangaea Castle collapsed. However, the final section containing the Hall of the Empty Throne was protected by some mysterious force and remained completely unharmed.

At the same time, figures continuously burst through the magma explosion and landed on the battlefield.

Some charged toward Sakazuki, some rushed to kill Nika Luffy, while others moved in to stop them...

Explosions and collisions rang out nonstop, making the battlefield sound almost like a noisy marketplace.

Sakazuki’s gaze swept across them before he let out a faint sigh.

’After killing so many, there are still this many left... but this is the end.’

In the distance, Nika Luffy’s ridiculous voice echoed out from within the magma.

"Whoa whoa whoa..."

He plunged both hands into the molten lava.

A massive section of magma instantly transformed into red rubber. Then he released it, sending giant chunks flying toward Sakazuki.

Watching the incoming magma-rubber masses, Sakazuki calmly raised one hand to block them.

BOOM!

Violent shockwaves blasted toward his back while his coat of justice fluttered wildly, yet his body did not move even slightly.

From the point where his right hand made contact with the magma-rubber, Conqueror’s Haki surged into its core.

That supreme Haki which had dominated the seas for decades instantly broke through the Devil Fruit’s power.

The magma-rubber blocks reverted back into real magma.

Then from the opposite side where Sakazuki held them back, several violent Hellhound attacks suddenly burst forth and shot toward Nika Luffy almost instantly.

Nika Luffy seemed not to have reacted yet, but his body instinctively moved first. His body twisted in an absurd and bizarre way to dodge the attacks.

Only afterward did he show a frightened expression. His eyes and tongue popped outward, looking exactly like a scene from a cartoon.

But Sakazuki remained completely unmoved.

After the several Hellhound attacks failed to hit Nika Luffy, they rushed toward the sky and merged into a massive molten dragon that tore across the battlefield.

Sakazuki himself transformed into magma as well, continuously pouring into the lava before him.

With Sakazuki’s actual body merging into it, the magma dragon suddenly expanded several times over and dived straight toward the great hall containing the Empty Throne.

The roar of the molten dragon echoed throughout Mariejois.

The Five Elders and the members of the God’s Knights, who were still fighting against Garp and Sengoku, widened their eyes in fury.

"How dare you!!!!"

Time itself seemed to slow down.

In everyone’s eyes, Mariejois, which should have still been under daylight, suddenly flashed with an intense white light, as though the entire world had glitched for an instant.

Endless white light descended from the sky. It struck the incoming magma dragon and the wildly laughing Nika Luffy standing on the ground.

BOOM!!!!!!!!!

There was no violent shaking, only an overwhelming roar.

After the endless white light faded, the blank silence that followed for several dozen seconds felt unbearably long.

When everyone’s vision finally returned, everything that had once existed where Mariejois stood had vanished. Only a gigantic crater nearly a thousand meters deep remained, piercing through both sides of the Red Line.

The land itself had been completely erased.

Dragon stared at the crater in disbelief and looked downward into it.

"Luffy!!!!"

Beside him, Garp was equally stunned as he rushed toward the edge of the crater.

"Luffy!!!!"

His legs bent as he prepared to jump down, but Sengoku quickly grabbed his arm.

"Stop right there, Garp!!!"

Sengoku forcefully suppressed the fear in his heart and forced himself to remain calm while restraining Garp and looking toward the Five Elders.

There was reverence visible in their expressions. Clearly, that terrifying power had been released by someone, and it was someone even the Five Elders willingly respected...

The veins on Garp’s forehead bulged violently as he clenched his teeth and stared at the smoke-covered crater.

Then suddenly... a weak aura appeared.

Afterward, it rapidly swelled stronger and stronger, accompanied by slowly growing laughter.

"Hehe... hehe... hehehehehe..."

As the laughter grew louder, the gigantic crater nearly a thousand meters deep that pierced through both sides of the Red Line suddenly twisted under some incomprehensible force.

Reality itself seemed overturned.

Beginning from the bottom, the crater rapidly rose upward and was directly pulled out from the land everyone stood upon.

The ground then bounced like rubber jelly before smoothly returning to normal.

That enormous crater... had vanished...

Nika-form Luffy dropped down from the sky with his huge grin spread wide open.

Before he could laugh again, Garp’s furious roar suddenly exploded above him.

"LUFFY!!!!"

BAM!

The fist known as the Fist of Love smashed directly into Nika Luffy’s face, making stars appear in his eyes as memories of the fear Garp once instilled in him instantly resurfaced.

"Grandpa!"

The slow-witted Luffy did not even notice who had just blocked countless attacks for him moments earlier.

Hearing his reply, the veins on Garp’s forehead bulged violently as thick Armament Haki once again flowed around his fists.

Tap.

Tap.

Tap.

Clear footsteps echoed throughout the battlefield.

Nusjuro, Warcury, and the members of the God’s Knights immediately turned around and respectfully looked toward the great hall.

The other three Elders actually walked out from inside.

But they were opening the door for someone else...
