Chapter 10 The Black Tower's Invitation

Lin Qiong followed March 7 to Xing's room. Upon entering, he found that Xing had already sat up, with Dan Heng and Pam standing beside her.

On March 7th, after seeing that Xing had woken up, he quickly went to Xing's bedside and asked:

How are you feeling? Is there anything bothering you?

Lin Qiong knew that the Black Tower had probably asked them to meet there to test the simulated universe she had developed.

Himeko then sent the location of the Black Tower office to March 7 using her phone, but since Lin Qiong and Xing didn't have phones yet, March 7 had to lead the way for them.

March 7th brought Lin Qiong and Xing to the entrance of the Black Tower office and stopped, saying to them, "We're here. This is the location Himeko sent me. I have something to do at the train station, so I'll be going now."

The room lights suddenly turned on, and a long screen appeared on the left, displaying portraits of the five members of the Genius Club.

Lin Qiong could recognize the following characters arranged from left to right: "Zandaer" 1, "Polka" 4, "Liltah" 22, and "Elijahsaras" 56.

Lin Qiong could only name the first four, but the fifth one was the well-known "Screw Gum" 76, who also participated in the development of the simulated universe.

On the right, there is only a single display screen, on which is the portrait of the true owner of this space station, a member of the Genius Club—"Black Tower" 83.

She placed herself alone on the side, perhaps implying that she was more unique than the five geniuses on her left.

"What are you still standing there for?"

Just then, a voice called out to Lin Qiong and Xing, who were still touring the office, and the two looked toward the source of the voice.

A girl, resembling a doll, stood beside a huge device, hands on her hips, and shouted at Lin Qiong and Xing:

"Quickly, come over here right now."

Then, when Lin Qiong and Xing walked up to the doll-like girl, she spoke first:

"Oh, you've finally arrived. Nice to meet you. I am Black Tower."

"Hello, Ms. Black Tower from Genius Club 83, it's a pleasure to meet you. My name is Qiong."

Lin Qiong stepped forward, placed his right palm on his chest, and bowed slightly.

Xing, standing to the side, mimicked Lin Qiong's posture and said:

"Hello, Ms. Black Tower, I am Star."

Upon hearing this, Black Tower frowned and said with some displeasure:

"Stop, stop, hold on! Be polite, why bring up clubs, and definitely don't mention '83'!"

"Forget it, I won't dwell on it," Black Tower waved his hand, then looked at Xing and said, "You're that 'Star Core,' right? Come closer so I can take a closer look."

Black Tower beckoned, inviting Star to come closer for easier observation.

Xing looked at Lin Qiong with a questioning look in her eyes.

"It's alright, let Ms. Black Tower take a look."

"She's probably just curious. She won't eat you." Hearing Lin Qiong say this, Xing, relieved, walked towards the black tower.

Looking at Xing approaching, Black Tower circled her a few times, scrutinizing her as if he had discovered a new continent, muttering to himself:

"Incredible, truly incredible! I built an entire space station specifically to contain this unactivated 'star core'."

"But how did someone manage to restrain this 'star core' using only this brat's body?"

The more Black Tower looked at it, the more novel it became. He couldn't wait to keep the star and study it properly, since it was usually impossible to preserve the "star core" in a person's body.
