Chapter 932: Male Desire
Chapter 932: Male Desire
The sweetness of Summer Monroe lingered in his mouth, while an uncontrollable male desire stirred beneath him.
For Damian Knight, balancing the two was indeed a challenge to his self-control.
To prevent matters from spiraling completely out of his control, Damian reluctantly pulled away from Summer’s lips.
He looked at her slightly furrowed brows and helplessly reached out to smooth them.
This girl, even asleep, could effortlessly control his emotions.
Damian sighed, not daring to touch Summer recklessly again. After adjusting his breath, he quietly climbed into the bed, then draped a hand over her waist, closing his eyes to sleep alongside her.
The flight would depart in four hours, offering him three hours to sleep beside Summer.
He had braved Rivain’s pouring rain and flown back to Crestfall overnight just for these three hours.
"Mmh..." Damian sighed contentedly, wrapping his arm tightly around Summer’s waist as he drifted off to sleep beside her.
...
Time passed swiftly.
In the blink of an eye, it was the next day.
Summer was awakened by the alarm clock and instinctively glanced towards her bedside.
The space beside her was empty, leaving her momentarily perplexed.
Was she hallucinating? Last night she seemed to dream that Damian returned, and the two shared a passionate kiss,
The most striking part was how real it felt, real enough that she could still recall the sensation of last night’s kiss, even her lips...
She touched her lips, noticing they were slightly swollen.
Perhaps it happened by accident, maybe she inadvertently bit her lip in her dream, hence the vivid dream.
"Summer, you must be crazy missing Damian!"
It was her first time having such a dream; in Cathaysia, there’s a term for these dreams – spring dreams.
She frustratingly pinched her cheek and rolled out of bed.
Despite having so much to do, with Susan Stone giving her only three months to prove herself, and still clueless about Stella Monroe’s situation, she managed to indulge in a spring dream; how embarrassing!
Summer sighed heavily, gradually forgetting the dream only after finishing her morning routine.
As she headed downstairs, Cece happened to be coming up.
Seeing her, Cece smiled and said, "Miss Monroe, you’re awake. I was just about to call you."
Following last night’s events, Cece was thoroughly convinced summer was the lady of the house.
The woman whom Damian Knight cherished and doted upon was naturally the lady of the house — the one and only.
Summer didn’t notice Cece’s enthusiasm was greater than ever; she nodded slightly and said, "I’ll skip taking the dumplings for now; otherwise, they might defrost in the morning and affect the freshness of the filling."
Cece nodded, saying, "Alright, I’ll make sure they’re delivered to the school on time."
"Yes, remember to buy a hundred sets of disposable tableware at the supermarket, as well as tools to cook dumplings..." Summer noted down what needed to be brought to the school on a piece of paper.
After confirming nothing was overlooked, she set off for school.
Today was the day for announcing grades and the charity event; it looked like a lively day ahead.
While eating in the car, Summer recalled the dream again.
Her face warmed slightly, compelled to send a text message to Damian Knight.
"I checked the weather forecast; it rained heavily over there last night. I hope everything is alright?"
The message was sent, but no reply came.
Is he still asleep?
Summer checked the time and realized it was still early, so she refrained from texting again.
Damian was likely exhausted; better to let him sleep a little longer.
Meanwhile, Damian was still on the flight.
This plane had WiFi, but since Summer sent a text, Damian did not receive it.
