Luo Li and Wei tide walked hand in hand towards the lecture hall. Sunlight danced on them like playful sprites. Luo Li wore a light blue dress, the hem swaying gently with her steps. Her long hair cascaded over her shoulders, a few strands fluttering in the breeze. Her eyes were bright and clear, sparkling with youthful energy. Wei Xi, on the other hand, wore casual sportswear and a high ponytail, looking lively and adorable.
"Luo Li, what fun things do you think will happen at this class meeting?" Wei tide asked curiously as they walked, her eyes sparkling with anticipation.
Luo Li raised the corners of her mouth slightly and said with a smile, "I don't know either, but it should be very interesting." Her voice was as clear and melodious as a silver bell.
The two chatted as they walked, and soon arrived at the lecture hall. As soon as they opened the door, they were like two dazzling pearls falling into the crowd, instantly attracting the attention of many. Even without much effort in dressing up, Luo Li's delicate features and lively spirit were still outstanding. The two then tacitly headed towards the back of the classroom, looking for adjacent empty seats.
The lecture hall was large, with sunlight streaming in through the windows, illuminating the entire space. The two classes attending the meeting had over sixty students from all over the country, their diverse regional characteristics seemingly etched on each face. After Luo Li and Wei Xi sat down, Luo Li gently smoothed her hair, her eyes curiously scanning the classroom. She noticed some students had dark complexions, as if kissed by the sun; others had fair skin, like delicate porcelain. She couldn't help but marvel at the diversity of the world. Wei tide also sat up straight, her eyes darting around like a clever little squirrel.
"Look at that boy, his hair is a mess like a bird's nest," Wei tide whispered in Luo Li's ear. She then covered her mouth and giggled, her eyes full of mischief.
Luo Li laughed along, pointing to a girl in front of her and whispering, "Look, that girl's clothes have such a weird color combination, like a walking color palette." A hint of mockery flickered in her eyes.
Wei tide's eyes suddenly lit up, and she lowered her voice and said, "And that tall boy over there, why is his face so tanned, like he just came out of a coal pile?"
Luo Li couldn't help but chuckle softly, then quickly covered her mouth with her hand and said, "Wei Xi, it's not appropriate for you to say that." Her eyes held a hint of worry, as if she was afraid someone would hear.
Weixi shrugged nonchalantly and said, "Oh, we're just talking amongst ourselves, no one will hear us. Besides, there really aren't many good-looking ones. Originally, I was harboring a beautiful little dream, hoping to find a boyfriend and have a romantic relationship. But now, after looking around at everyone, I can't help but sigh inwardly, my Prince Charming is definitely not among them." A hint of disappointment appeared on her face.
So the two continued to whisper and comment on their classmates, the noise of the classroom seemingly serving as background noise for their little discussion. Luo Li observed her classmates, silently making judgments in her mind. She thought the boy with glasses looked quiet and was probably a top student; the girl in the red jacket was energetic and must love sports. Her thoughts wandered among her classmates, as if exploring an unknown world.
A short while later, a beautiful young woman gracefully stepped onto the stage. Her figure, like an elegant swan, instantly captivated everyone's attention. She wore a white dress, the hem of which swayed gently in the breeze. Her long hair flowed over her shoulders, as smooth as silk. A warm smile graced her face, and her gentle gaze swept over the audience, like a spring breeze caressing their faces.
After standing still, she cleared her throat and said, "Hello everyone, I'm your senior from the Class of 21. From today onwards, I'll be your counselor. My name is Ren Xinxin." Her voice was clear and melodious, like a mountain spring flowing into everyone's hearts. The students below the stage sat up straight, their eyes full of anticipation and curiosity. Hearing her words, everyone felt a warmth in their hearts, thinking how approachable she seemed.
Senior student Ren Xinxin continued, "I sincerely hope we can become good friends. If you ever need anything, feel free to come to me, like asking for leave. As long as it's within my power, I'll definitely help you without hesitation." Her eyes were full of sincerity and enthusiasm. As soon as she finished speaking, enthusiastic applause erupted from the audience. The students clapped vigorously, some even whistling excitedly. The applause and whistles echoed in the classroom, as if cheering for this new encounter.
The senior student pressed her hands down to signal everyone to be quiet, and then said, "Next, we have an important matter to attend to: we need to temporarily elect a class monitor, vice-monitor, academic representative, discipline representative, arts and sports representative, and hygiene representative. I hope everyone will actively participate and sign up." Her eyes were full of expectation, as if encouraging the students to bravely take the first step.
She paused, then continued, "Classmates, tomorrow we'll begin our week-long military training. This is a great opportunity to improve yourselves." Her eyes were full of encouragement as she spoke, her gaze sweeping across the students, as if instilling strength in each one. "Furthermore, after the military training inspection, we'll have our welcome party that afternoon.
